Owned and managed by Esprit Holdings Limited, the brand was founded in San Francisco in the United States in 1968 and is currently operated by a Hong Kong company.

The brand’s beginnings started off when Susie and Doug Tompkins sold their fashion label through their Volkswagen bus before the brand was developed in 1979. Esprit’s campaign has always been people oriented where today, they have a range of products catered for every member of the family.
In Vietnam, Esprit is sold at most major shopping centers with one in Parkson Flemington, Paragon, at Dong Khoi street, Parkson HV, Parkson LTT and Diamond Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City. In Hanoi, Esprit can be found at the Parkson VT Shopping Center.
